SOLIRIS OneSource simplifies ordering and distribution

No need to carry inventory

Alexion will work with your current distributor or the supplier required by your patient's insurance. Since SOLIRIS® (eculizumab) will be shipped prior to each infusion, there is no need to carry inventory.

How to order SOLIRIS

To order SOLIRIS:

  1. Place an order with your preferred specialty distributor.
     
  2. The Alexion Customer Operations Representative will call your office or clinic to confirm the patient's infusion appointment and arrange delivery.
     
  3. SOLIRIS will be shipped in an insulated cold chain container.
     
  4. SOLIRIS must be refrigerated upon receipt.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

WARNING: SERIOUS MENINGOCOCCAL INFECTION

SOLIRIS® increases the risk of meningococcal infections.

Vaccinate patients with a meningococcal vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to receiving the first dose of SOLIRIS; revaccinate according to current medication guidelines for vaccine use.

Monitor patients for early signs of meningococcal infections, evaluate immediately if infection is suspected, and treat with antibiotics if necessary.

The effect of withdrawal of anticoagulant therapy during SOLIRIS treatment has not been established. Therefore, treatment with SOLIRIS should not alter anticoagulant management.

The most frequent adverse events observed in clinical studies were headache, nasopharyngitis, back pain, nausea, fatigue, and cough.
