Your PNH patients' personalized resource for information about PNH, SOLIRIS therapy and insurance coverage

Each patient enrolled in SOLIRIS OneSource™ is assigned to an Alexion Case Manager. Alexion Case Managers are registered nurses with extensive healthcare and insurance expertise who provide education about PNH and SOLIRIS® (eculizumab) and facilitate solutions to help patients obtain and maintain access to SOLIRIS.

SOLIRIS treatment starts with SOLIRIS OneSource

A few, quick and easy steps will get your patients started on SOLIRIS:

Alexion Case Managers
  1. Have your patient call SOLIRIS OneSource at 1.888.765.4747 to speak to an Alexion Case Manager.
     
  2. The Alexion Case Manager will collect information about your patient and explain SOLIRIS OneSource services.
     
  3. The patient signs and returns the Alexion consent forms by way of fax or mail. You can also provide the Alexion consent forms directly to your patient.
     
  4. Your patient is now enrolled and his/her personal Alexion Case Manager can assist with insurance issues and coordinate clinical needs important to the patient's treatment plan.

WARNING: SERIOUS MENINGOCOCCAL INFECTION

SOLIRIS® increases the risk of meningococcal infections.

Vaccinate patients with a meningococcal vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to receiving the first dose of SOLIRIS; revaccinate according to current medication guidelines for vaccine use.

Monitor patients for early signs of meningococcal infections, evaluate immediately if infection is suspected, and treat with antibiotics if necessary.

The effect of withdrawal of anticoagulant therapy during SOLIRIS treatment has not been established. Therefore, treatment with SOLIRIS should not alter anticoagulant management.

The most frequent adverse events observed in clinical studies were headache, nasopharyngitis, back pain, nausea, fatigue, and cough.
